The people we serve
“Small Change”, combines a couple of interesting ideas. Firstly, we will enable a daily contribution of 1 rupee towards these selected and verified causes that are local and high impact. We will ensure large scale adoption of the idea using the social media influencers that we work with.
Secondly, we enable a daily selection of the cause that your money goes to. This gives our users a feeling of ownership and an incentive to be an evangelist for the causes they support. We will create success videos when each cause is funded and project completed, that enables the supporters to share this success and spread the word.
Thirdly, our app will be built with hooks that create a healthy competition among users, and encourages and rewards regular engagement. Over time, we hope that our socially conscious users switch to our app and apps like this for their “social media” time, guilt free instead of wasting it on traditional social media apps that only increase anxiety and lower self esteem.
We believe that once we kick start the process and give our users a sense of ownership and reward their contribution to a successful cause, they will find ways to get involved in higher capacities with these causes and the movement will only grow with time.
A large number of socially conscious citizens is the need of the hour in a developing country like India.
